My story
Over a quarter of a century in finance and accounting, from embryonic start-ups to PLCs with over £100 million turnover.
I was at the front of the digital shift in accounting — founding, and later exiting, one of the UK’s first fully digital accountancy firms. Since then I’ve built Hindsight, a Xero add-on, written Learning Xero, and publish The Pragmatist every week.
There’s hardly a challenge I haven’t met or a tool I haven’t tested. When something is new, there’s a network of experts on hand.
The constant is simplifying finance — and that only works when people, process and technology fit together.
